Deeply impregnated by my alpine culture, I designed with Stephanie Pascual this sledge inspired by the traditional “Paret”, used by kids many years ago to go down the mountain in order to go to school in winter time.
This version is pretty fun and has a joystick to drive the sledge down the hill. The child’s feet, one on each side, help it to slow down while sliding like with the traditional tool.
The object is made out of bentwood assembled with vividly iron painted parts and screwed together. The seat is maintained thanks to 2mm thick spring iron.
